Police use sniffer dogs to examine Olivia Pratt-death Korbel’s scene

The search for the murder weapon continues as police swarm the street where Olivia Pratt-Korbel was slain yesterday before using sniffer dogs to search.

The Dovecot neighbourhood of Liverpool saw the arrival of dozens of anti-gang Matrix squad police who conducted laborious searches that lasted for many hours.

Locals speculated that authorities probing the nine-year-murder old’s may have acquired fresh information overnight.

The homeowner told The Sun, “It’s the biggest police presence we’ve seen here since she was slain last Monday.”

They seemed to be searching for a particular item since they were digging about in gardens and underneath automobiles.

In collaboration with the National Crime Agency, sometimes referred to as “Britain’s FBI,” the police in Liverpool have started a massive crackdown on organised crime.

There have been several stories in recent days of gang leaders transporting narcotics out of the city and escaping to their homes abroad.

The gangsters who gave the order to shoot burglar Joseph Nee, which resulted in Olivia’s death, were allegedly “feeling the heat,” according to an underworld source last night.

In a fresh appeal to discover the shooter, Merseyside Police warned anybody withholding information that they were shielding murderers.

Almost a week has passed when Olivia was tragically murdered as a shooter followed Nee into her Dovecot house while also hurting Olivia’s 46-year-old mother, Cheryl.

Merseyside Police issued a brief but forceful video warning on Twitter, demanding that anybody concealing information do so immediately.

A narrator in the film declares: “We have parents who have lost their children.

There is a nine-year-old girl who will not celebrate turning 18. She won’t have a wedding reception. She won’t have any of her own kids.

“If you know anything and keep it from me, you’re shielding the murderers.” Your information is required. Give us the information, and we’ll take care of the rest.

The video also included pictures of Ashley Dale and Sam Rimmer along with pictures of Olivia and flowers at the crime site.

On Sunday, August 21, council employee Ms. Dale was tragically murdered in Old Swan, Liverpool.

The 28-year-old was discovered fatally injured in a home’s backyard. He was a member of Knowsley Council’s environmental health team. She was allegedly not the intended victim.

On Tuesday, August 16, Mr. Rimmer, 22, was shot in Dingle, Liverpool.

All three of the recent deadly shooting locations will have ‘enough of cops on patrol,’ according to the police.

They’re there to make you feel protected and to make sure offenders feel the pressure, the police force tweeted.

On Saturday, the two men who had been detained in connection with Olivia’s killing were released on bond.

A Huyton man, 36, was returned to jail for violating his license’s conditions.

He and a 33-year-old Dovecot man were both detained on suspicion of two charges of attempted murder and murder.

In order to “draw up a solid evidentiary picture and bring those guilty to justice,” Merseyside Police made an appeal for individuals to come forward with information.

The police earlier published a photo of a black Audi Q3, which they suspect was used to transport 35-year-old Nee to the hospital.

They continue to make an appeal to anybody who may have seen the car in the days before the shooting or who may know anything about its whereabouts after leaving Kingsheath Avenue on Monday night.

Police have repeatedly emphasised that “silence is not an option” in other social media initiatives.

We need names, they said, adding that there is “no hiding place for anybody implicated in the murder of young Olivia.”

In the days after the murder, witnesses have come forward because they ‘want to see justice’ for the little girl and her loved ones. According to assistant mayor of Liverpool Harry Doyle, the arrests have given residents ‘a feeling of optimism and comfort’.

Speaking out “is not about being a’snitch’ or a ‘grass,’ it is about finding out who stole our daughter away from us,” Olivia’s family has asked others to “do the right thing.”

For the team’s win against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, Liverpool FC captain Jordan Henderson donned a shirt that said, “RIP Olivia YNWA (You’ll Never Walk Alone)”.

Police said that they had made over 200 arrests and confiscated cars, narcotics, and firearms in the previous week as part of their larger campaign against organised crime.

In a weeklong investigation aimed at severe and organised crime around Merseyside, the police department tweeted: “We have arrested 170 individuals and recovered multiple cars, suspected Class A and B narcotics, and guns.”
