Cyclist struck down in a hit-and-run on the R61 outside Leisure Crest in Port Edward on the KZN South Coast

In Port Edward on the KZN South Coast, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R61 outside Leisure Crest.

According to reports, a cyclist was injured in a hit-and-run.

Medical professionals examined the patient, a man in his thirties who was discovered to have suffered critical injuries.

Prior to being taken by ambulance for additional treatment, the patient was given first aid on the scene by paramedics.
