CRISIL’s Sustainability Yearbook, 2022, places Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. in the leadership position.

Kansai Nerolac Paints ranks first in overall ESG performance and is the only Paint company in the ‘Leadership’ category. The company is one of only 14 companies to receive the ‘Leadership’ designation based on its ESG initiatives.

Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. (KNPL) has been featured in the CRISIL Sustainability Yearbook 2022’s ‘Leadership’ category in recognition of its unwavering dedication to sustainability and the environment. The company is one of just 14 in this category for its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. Furthermore, among paint and manufacturing firms, Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. gets the highest ESG score. This award reaffirms the company’s dedication to preserving a beautiful and healthy environment for future generations.

 

The CRISIL Sustainability Yearbook is one of the most comprehensive annual publications on Indian firms, based on CRISIL’s own ESG methodology. The Yearbook covers the latest global and domestic developments in the ESG space, as well as the incorporation of climate risks by global financial institutions, de-carbonization of hard-to-abate sectors in India, the implications of transitioning from BRR to BRSR for Indian companies, and showcases insights on ESG trends based on the scores and data of Indian companies, by analyzing over 575 companies across 53 sectors in India based on fiscal data from 2021.
