California fire department finishes inquiry into firefighters who took stripper on their truck

Investigators in San Jose have wrapped up their investigation into a strange incident that involved an apparent exotic dancer exiting a fire truck. However, they have yet to determine whether anyone involved will face discipline.

The city was taken aback when footage emerged in October of a woman wearing a bikini and high heels exiting a fire truck outside the Pink Poodle strip club and entering the establishment.

Former mayor Sam Liccardo stated, “If the investigation concludes that this video is as bad as it looks, then heads must roll.” He emphasized that they cannot allow emergency rescue equipment to be treated like a party bus or any behavior that devalues the brave work of the SJFD team.

The city confirmed to KRON 4 on Tuesday that the investigation had concluded, but did not specify whether anyone would be punished. Matt Mahan, the new mayor, believes that Fire Chief Robert Sapien will take appropriate action once he conducts a thorough investigation.

According to a firefighter who spoke to KRON4, the firefighters involved in the Pink Poodle incident are still employed. The firefighter stated that the matter is being kept quiet and is an internal affairs matter.

The video was posted on an account called San Jose Foos and showed a firetruck parked outside the Pink Poodle strip club. The woman in the video was unidentified, and it is unknown whether she worked at the strip club.

The San Jose Local Firefighter Executive Board stated in October that they did not condone what was seen on the video and that the fire department was investigating. According to the Pink Poodle’s website, it has been in business since 1963 and is San Jose’s only all-nude strip club.
