Cabbage and fruit salad suggestions

Various types of cabbage are acceptable. Including some purple cabbage in the feast is a great way to spice things up and provide a lot of visual interest. Grated ingredients are simple to prepare and enjoy. Other vegetables, raw mushrooms, and nuts can be added to the salad as well for extra protein if desired. This recipe is quite flexible, since it can be prepared in advance for any meal of the week and eaten on the fly.
