Big Brother Naija Angel’s dad says cross did not help him and his wife

Baron Meyagy, the father of Angel Agnes Smith, a former Big Brother Naija season 6 Shine Ya Eye star, has slammed his daughter’s colleague and co-reality star, Cross Ikechukwu Okonkwo, for claiming he aided him and Angel’s mother.

Angel’s father, who took to Twitter on Saturday morning, June 18, said he doesn’t understand why Cross would go on live TV to create the appearance that he has done things for him.

The man clarified that he requested Cross and many other people to donate to a philanthropic event that he and his partner hosted in December.

He said that after it was accomplished, Cross was tagged online to the video to let him know that his money was put to good use, which simply makes it apparent that Cross donated voluntarily and not under duress.

Angel’s father believes he didn’t see why Cross had to go on national television (during the Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye Reunion) to make it appear as if he (Angel’s father) begged him for money or didn’t have any choice when he asked him to donate.

This issue erupted following the Shine Ya Eye Reunion event on Friday night, during which Cross and Angel continued to disagree about who returned each other’s energy and vibe.

Angel had told Cross that he didn’t do anything for her, despite the fact that she clearly did a lot for him. Angel claimed that she cooked and sent food to Cross three times when he was unwell.

Also, after they returned from Dubai, Cross was cashless, and Angel rushed to his aid.

Cross then explained that he had helped Angel’s family, her father and mother, while attempting to let Angel know that he had also reciprocated the energy. But Angel insisted it wasn’t Cross who helped her.
