Beyoncé scores first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination [watch]

After receiving a nomination at the Oscar Awards for Best Original Song earlier this year, Beyoncé is celebrating yet another achievement! The Sorry hitmaker has been nominated for her first Daytime Emmy for her contribution to her mother’s Facebook Watch series, Talks With Mama Tina.

‘TALKS WITH MAMA TINA’

As per the synopsis for the show, Tina Knowles’, Talks With Mama Tina features intimate conversations filmed in the “vibrancy and warmth” of her home.

Talks With Mama Tina has featured some of America’s top entertainers including Blackish star Marsai Martin, R&B-pop duo Chloe x Halle, actress Tiffany Haddish and Euphoria star Zendaya.

BEYONCÉ SCORES FIRST DAYTIME EMMY NOMINATION

Beyoncé scored her first-ever Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Original Song category for the theme song of Talks With Mama Tina.

The 40-year-old singer is up against two songs from The Young and the Restless, Next To You and Grateful For It All.

The Daytime Emmys are set to take place on Sunday 24 June.
