In light of the news about Her Majesty’s health, BBC One has paused all regular programming until 6 p.m.
Bargain Hunt was taken off the air to notify viewers that doctors were “concerned” about Her Majesty’s health, according a Thursday afternoon statement from Buckingham Palace.
The BBC One afternoon programming schedule has been relocated to BBC Two.
Thursday at 12:40 p.m., the popular daytime program in which two teams are allocated £300 to find the greatest bargains to sell at auction was canceled.
Twenty minutes before the 1 o’clock news was scheduled to begin, viewers were watching the hosts of Bargain Hunt before the screen went blank. Joanna Gosling, a broadcaster for BBC News, then appeared to break the news.

Thursday’s Bargain Hunt was abruptly halted at 12:40 p.m. when the screen went blank and BBC News’ Joanna Gosling emerged.
She stated, “Welcome, BBC One viewers.”
Buckingham Palace has informed us that the Queen is under medical observation in Balmoral.
The physicians have become concerned about her health, and she is currently under their care.
It is believed that she is at ease, and her close family has been notified.
Following this, the BBC paused its regular programming to provide rolling updates on the health of the 96-year-old king.
