Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, to visit some schools in Gauteng

Angie Motshekga, the Basic Education Minister, will visit several schools in Gauteng tomorrow, as the 2023 academic year begins for inland schools.

“The Minister will monitor schools in Gauteng as inland schools begin the 2023 academic year,” said the Department of Basic Education on Tuesday.

The Minister will pay a visit to Cosmo City Primary School in Diepsloot. She will also visit Sunrise Secondary School, Cosmo City Secondary School, and Diepsloot Primary School.

On Wednesday, schools in the Free State, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and North West provinces will reopen for the new academic year.
