Another Australian home builder folds, leaving customers with incomplete houses

Another Australian house builder has failed, leaving hundreds of unfinished homes and distraught clients in the lurch.

At a public meeting on Wednesday, Oracle Building Corporation Pty Ltd, also known as Oracle Hunter Homes and Oracle Platinum Homes, was dissolved, leaving up to 300 residences still under construction.

It is the most recent in a string of tragic construction sector disasters that has seen businesses fail all around Australia due to exorbitant prices and supply shortages.

After an insolvency notice was lodged with the corporate regulator ASIC, creditors and suppliers are rushing up to retrieve what money they can.

In the aftermath of the collapse, clients of the construction giant attacked the corporation on Facebook.

One consumer complained, “We just lost our deposit.” Oracle Platinum Homes has declared bankruptcy.

Another client said that their experience with the builder had negatively impacted their “mental and physical wellbeing.”

I’m aware that I’m not struggling alone. not to mention the hardships faced by my family.

“My granddaughters home after two years is still merely a slab and half a frame,” said Janet, one of the commenters.
