An American expatriate in Australia contrasted her kind Australian manager to a harsh supervisor in the US who texted her, calling her “useless and a waste of time.”
In a video uploaded to TikTok last week, the former volleyball star gushed over her Australian employer, who sent kind greetings to her and the team on RUOK Day.
The nicest thing I have ever heard is that Australia has a national holiday to check in on one another and see whether everyone is doing well, she added.
