Amy Schumer is proud to host SNL before “midterm abortions” and calls Kanye a Nazi

During her return to Saturday Night Live, Amy Schumer made a quick, biting reference to Kanye West, whom she referred to as a “Nazi.”

During her opening monologue, Schumer, 41, who was headlining the long-running sketch show for the first time since 2018 and the third time overall, criticized West for his recent anti-Semitic statements.

The ‘Life and Beth’ star was explaining to the audience that her husband was on the autism spectrum and that his illness was previously known as Asperger’s Syndrome.

Schumer then stated, “It was once known as Asperger’s, but it was discovered that Dr. Asperger had Nazi ties, Kanye…

The Interior The creator of Amy Schumer then acted as if she hadn’t intended to say that, tapping her microphone to see whether anyone could hear her and exclaiming, “That’s crazy.”

Schumer looked to be alluding to West and suspended Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving’s recent antisemitic statements in the show’s ending, where she wore a baseball t-shirt that read “3 Jews.”

The veteran leftist comedian also made an allusion to the approaching elections, joking that she was hosting the last episode before the’midterm abortions’ before cutting: ‘What did I say? Sorry, I was considering the consequences of not voting.

She also addressed her life with her husband and son before acting in several sketches and introduced Steve Lacy as the musical guest.

The remarks were the most recent criticism of West, who has been under fire recently for anti-Semitic remarks he made last month.

In a tweet, the rapper stated, “I’m a little drowsy now, but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” The irony is that I cannot be anti-Semitic since black people are Jews as well. You have messed with me and attempted to blackball opponents of your plan.’

Later, the rapper’s Twitter account was terminated.

Piers Morgan asked West last week if he regretted the tweet, to which he replied, “No, definitely not, absolutely not… I battled fire with fire; I’m not here to be sprayed with water; that’s a different kind of freedom fighter.

Later, he clarified: ‘I will express my regret for the people I have harmed. I feel as though I cause pain and confusion, and I’m sorry for the families of the people who had nothing to do with the trauma I had endured or the fact that I use my platform to say, ‘Hurt people hurt people,’ despite the fact that I myself have been hurt.

His remarks caused him to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in business deals and advertising partnerships with companies such as GAP, Balenciaga, and Adidas, the manufacturer and distributor of the rapper’s highly successful clothing line and Yeezy shoe brand.

The banking firm JP Morgan Chase has also terminated his employment.

As a result of Adidas terminating connections with him, his overall worth decreased from an estimated $2 billion to roughly $500 million.

While Kanye has a history of unpredictable social media outbursts — he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016 — his rants have increased in frequency this year.

While West did not apologize for his comments, he did state that he had been ‘humbled’ by the estimated $1 billion in lost business deals.

West stated that he believes God has humbled him for boasting frequently about his wealth – a significant portion of which he has lost as a result of suspended brand deals.

Despite his diagnosis, West has notably refused to take any mood-stabilizing medications.

Irving was suspended for at least five games by the Nets for tweeting a link to an anti-Semitic film.

Next week, Saturday Night Live will return with comedian Dave Chappelle hosting for the third time and musical guest Black Star appearing for the first time.
