Before entering the White House, he removed the mask to greet workers and fans on the South Lawn.
After Dr. Biden’s diagnosis became known, the White House announced that the president had tested negative for COVID-19 on Wednesday morning.
Because he is a personal friend of the First Lady, the official said, “He will mask for 10 days while inside and in close proximity to others.” Additionally, “We will maintain the resident’s heightened testing tempo and continue to report those findings.
