Zamanguni Gumede, the mother of late Big Nuz member Mandlenkosi “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, has gone away.
After a brief illness, Gumede, a patient at the Wentworth Hospital in Durban, passed away on Sunday. Her passing comes after that of Mamphintsha, who died on Christmas Eve.
During the memorial service and funeral for Mampintsha, Gumede was clearly ill and need assistance from her family.
Gumede’s daughter Pinki begged the public for assistance in moving her to a private hospital a few weeks after she was admitted to the hospital.
Gumede was identified as having a stroke that also had an impact on her liver, according to Pinki. During Mampintsha’s funeral, Gumede and her daughter-in-law Bongekile, “Babes Wodumo” Simelane, both smoked peace pipes in the open.
