Josephine Gardin-Chaplin, renowned actress and daughter of the iconic Sir Charlie Chaplin, has died at the age of 74 in France.

Her funeral service was held on Friday at the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris.

Josephine’s mother was Oona O’Neill, Sir Charlie’s fourth wife and a British-American actress.

The Chaplin office in Paris, responsible for representing the comedian’s companies and family, confirmed that she passed away peacefully in the French capital on July 13, surrounded by her loved ones.
