A passenger battles for life after an antelope rushed into the path of a Harley Davidson rider.

After an antelope leaped in front of their motorcycle, a Harley Davidson rider was murdered and his passenger is in critical condition.

When their motorcycle collided with the wild animal in Utah yesterday, the male driver, who has not been identified, was traveling west on SR-12 with a passenger in tow.

According to Utah Highway Patrol troopers, the driver lost control and both passengers were ‘completely ejected’ from the vehicle. Both of them were wearing helmets.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site, Route 12 about 2.5 miles north of Tropic Junction, around 9:45 am on Monday morning.

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, whose identity has not yet been released either, was transported to a local hospital.

The names of the deceased and injured are not being released at this time pending notification of family. The crash remains under investigation.
