A motorcycle crash in Tiaro yesterday night kills a man

A man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Tiaro yesterday night (January 26).

At 6.30 a.m. today, police were notified of a single vehicle motorcycle collision on Talegalla Drive (January 27).

According to preliminary investigations, the motorcycle was travelling down Talegalla Drive approximately 5.30 p.m. (January 26) when it lost control and crashed.

The cyclist, a 66-year-old man from Tiaro, was critically injured and died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and asking anybody with dashcam/CCTV footage from the area to come forward.
