A 41-year-old man, previously known as Deano Wilson, legally changed his name to Fire Exit after the name took hold as a family joke.
According to Exit, his new name has made him well-known, and he is always offered free things when he goes places. He claims that some shops, estate agents, and other places have his autograph on their exit signs.
The father of five revealed that the idea to change his name came to him during the COVID-19 lockdown, and he officially changed it online for $21.
Exit travels frequently for work, and his fame has rapidly spread to various countries, including Berlin.
Although some people have made fun of his name online, Exit claims that in person, people can see that it’s a whole different thing.
He is not bothered by the haters and did it for the reactions. Exit gushed that his name is the only name in lights in every language around the world and that people say he is crazy but a genius.
