A collision at the R554 and Kliprivier Intersection in Liefde En Vrede left eight people injured.

Two taxis and a light motor vehicle crashed at the R554 and Kliprivier Intersection in Liefde En Vrede this afternoon, injuring eight individuals.

At 15h41, ER24 and other services came to find one taxi in the middle of the road and the other on the opposite side of the road. The light motor vehicle was parked on the side of the road a short distance away. A number of adults were seen roaming about the area.

Medics examined the victims and discovered that eight of them were adults who had slight to serious injuries. Fortunately, there were no significant injuries or fatalities.

The patients were treated before being taken to neighbouring hospitals for further treatment.

Authorities from the locality were on the site to conduct additional investigations.
