On the N4 outside of Rustenburg on Saturday, a collision involving three light vehicles and a bakkie resulted in four fatalities and eight injuries.
At 21:15, ER24 and other emergency services discovered three automobiles in the center of the road and a light vehicle that was well ablaze on the side of the road. Numerous patients could be seen sprawled between the automobiles.
The blazing vehicle was put out by the Provincial Fire Services, who arrived on the site. Three patients were discovered inside the burning automobile when the fire was put out. Another man was discovered unresponsive inside another small car.
Sadly, all four victims had already passed away from their wounds. They were pronounced dead since nothing could be done to save them.
On the scene, eight other people were being treated. Their injuries ranged from minor to critical, according to assessments.
The patients received treatment and advanced life support before being taken to nearby hospitals for more care.
