A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with the ongoing investigations into the alleged murder of 24-year-old Toyah Cordingley at Wangetti Beach in Far North Queensland in 2018.
The man arrived in Cairns from Melbourne after the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court granted his extradition to Queensland. He has been charged with one count of murder and has been remanded in custody.
The accused is set to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Friday, March 3. The case is still under investigation, and further details are not available at this time.

Since her breakup four nights prior, Ms. Bishop had not been seen in public until that moment. She made her first public appearance with Mr. Panton in 2014. Since then, the two have been seen together at a variety of occasions, including Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough’s wedding in 2018.
