8-month-old becomes motherless after mother dies of attack

A pregnant woman who died after reportedly being beaten with a block of concrete in a shopping center parking lot was recalled as the “most lovely and kind person” by her bereaved spouse.

Following an alleged unprovoked assault in the Waterford Plaza carpark on Manning Rd in Karawara on Tuesday evening, Diane Miller, 30, and her unborn child passed away at the Royal Perth Hospital shortly before 2am on Friday.

Her kid, who is eight months old, is left behind.

Following a candlelight vigil conducted in the hospital on Thursday night, during which loved ones said her goodbye, Ms. Miller passed away.

It was challenging for the whole family, according to her boyfriend Phillip Edmonds.

He said, “It was really hard to say goodbye and to visit her in the hospital.”

a sentimental Mr. Edmonds said he was making an effort to maintain his composure for the sake of other family members.

“I can’t lose it.” I have to stand up for them, he said.

Mr. Edmonds described Ms. Miller’s demeanor as “wicked” with love.

He replied, “She’s a forgiving person, always loving.”

She was the most beautiful female.

She helped me become the strong person I am today.

The couple had just relocated and was getting ready to give birth at their new house.

We were putting it up for the baby and turning it into a true home, he said.

Mr. Edmonds described Ms. Miller’s death as tragic and said he was still in disbelief over it.

I’m still having trouble, he said.

We’re now too hurt to accomplish anything.

I’ll continue to adore her till the day I pass away.

Marika, Ms. Miller’s niece, was riding along in the vehicle when the alleged event occurred.

She characterized her aunt as amusing.

She made everyone happy, so you could never be depressed around her, Marika remarked.

Primus Hansen, Ms. Miller’s uncle, said he opposed more violence.

He answered, “Let the cops handle it; let them do their job.”

The aunt of Mr. Edmonds, Angela Ryder, has created a GoFundMe campaign to help support her son Lloyde and pay for the burial.

I set up this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of Phillip and baby Lloyde in order to gather money to assist this family, Ms. Ryder penned

The money received will be used to cover any further expenditures the family may incur as well as any future legal fees related to Diane.

A few days before to the event, “Phillip and Diane had just moved into their long-awaited house.”

The gender of Ms Miller’s second child, who was five months pregnant, will be revealed next week.

Malcolm Clifton, her brother, said that his younger sister had always supported the whole family and behaved as if she were the eldest.

On Thursday, just hours before she passed away, he told 6PR radio, “She is our rock, but now I’ve got to be everyone else’s rock.”

You will never meet a more lovely person than she is.

Ms. Miller had a cardiac attack while driving with her young family when a piece of concrete was hurled through the window and hit her in the head.

The inquiry has now been turned over to the homicide squad.

Grievous bodily harm was previously filed against a 17-year-old kid from Kensington.

He also faces a charge of violating bail, which is unconnected.

After Ms. Miller passed away, the charge of grievous bodily injury can be enhanced.

The unnamed youngster made an appearance on Wednesday in Perth Children’s Court and will have another hearing on December 9.

This week, Inspector Brett Baddock said that neither party knew the other.

He told reporters, “I just put it down to (supposedly) stupid, unprovoked aggression, which is unacceptable, and we won’t allow it.”

Detectives pleaded with anybody who saw the event or has video of it to call Crime Stoppers since the investigation into it was still continuing, according to the police.
