32-year-old man is charged with murdering first-time mother-to-be

Natalie McNally was murdered in Co. Armagh in December, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), and a 32-year-old man has been charged with the crime.

The individual was first detained on December 19 and was then detained once again on January 31 in the vicinity of Lisburn.

On Thursday, he is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court.

On December 18, Ms. McNally, 32, was stabbed in her Lurgan home when she was 15 weeks pregnant.

Man, 32, charged with murder of first-time mother-to-be, 32, found stabbed to death in her home

At a demonstration held in her honor on Saturday in Lurgan Park, more than a thousand people showed up.

Parents Noel and Bernie and brothers Brendan, Niall, and Declan of Natalie also attended the event, which was organized by the National Women’s Council (NWC).

Michelle O’Neill, the Stormont leader of Sinn Fein, was among the parliamentarians present.

Many attendees held signs stating “Justice for Natalie” and “She was just at home,” while many more donned pink or blue attire in honor of the expectant mother.

In his speech, Brendan McNally said that his sister was an example for other women.

Natalie was a terrific person, he added. She has type one diabetes since she was three years old.

But the fact that she was never constrained in her life goals is still a credit to her character.

She was overjoyed to be having a child for the first time. Natalie is a great motivation for any young kid in Northern Ireland who has diabetes.

Violence against women and girls is one of the major ills in our society, he said.

This is hardly a foundation for a common future.

The moment has long since arrived for us to realize that we must keep working until all ongoing violence against women is permanently stopped.

Over 4,000 hours of CCTV video were confiscated and hundreds of house-to-house enquiries were made by detectives looking into the death of Ms. McNally.

According to a PSNI spokeswoman, the Public Prosecution Service will assess each case as is customary.
