25-year-old innocent bystander is shot in the buttocks while riding an MTA bus in Brooklyn

According to police and law enforcement sources, a 25-year-old innocent bystander was shot in the buttocks while riding an MTA bus in Brooklyn on Tuesday night.

The shooting occurred after a man got into an argument with another male on the B44 bus near Rogers Avenue and Empire Boulevard around 10:20 p.m.

As per authorities, the suspect opened fire, but the bullet missed his intended target and struck the male bystander instead.

The shooter and a woman he was with fled the bus at the next stop.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition.

The crime scene area protected by caution tape was spotted in Brooklyn on March 14, 2023. No arrests have been made, cops said.
