The corpse of a 12-year-old girl was discovered in Paris tied up in a suitcase, covered with wounds across her neck, and with weird numerals imprinted on her by a “gadget.” A murder investigation has been opened.
The woman was found with her feet and wrists tied, tape covering her face, and clearly visible neck wounds.
Additionally, she had mysterious numerals on her body.
On Saturday, a post-mortem examination determined that she had died from asphyxiation (oxygen deprivation).
According to French channel BFMTV, the child’s body had the numerals “1” and “0” on it.
According to a police source, the youngster had the digits “put” on her by a “device,” not written on or sliced into.
The meaning of the numerals is still a mystery to the cops.
The youngster was discovered after her mother reported her missing after she didn’t come home from school in the 19th arrondissement of the French capital.
In addition to starting a murder investigation, the police said they had found evidence of an abduction in the family home’s basement.
Detectives looked into CCTV video that showed a woman carrying a bag leaving the premises.
The girl’s corpse was subsequently discovered inside the same luggage, according to police, at Rue d’Hautpoul a few blocks away.
According to accounts, the schoolgirl had many neck wounds, her feet and hands were chained, and her face was taped.
Four persons are reportedly in detention, however BFMTV does not specify why they are being held.
The person who notified the police after finding the luggage is one of them.
