10-year-old in Brighton fell 100 feet down a cliff

A man has been detained after a 10-year-old child who was on vacation in Brighton fell 100 feet from a cliff.

According to Sussex Police, a 52-year-old Oxfordshire man was detained on suspicion of permitting a child to suffer severe bodily damage.

Near about 5 o’clock on Saturday, they said the kid “fell from height” at Ovingdean.

He was discovered to have sustained severe wounds and was flown to St. George’s Hospital in south London, where he is now being treated for stable injuries.

On Saturday night, witnesses claimed to have seen a man asking for assistance.

While the investigation is ongoing, the individual who was detained in connection with the event has been released on bail until next month.

The public is being asked to provide information by the police.

‘I saw all the emergency services near the cliff and it looked pretty worrisome,’ a bystander told The Argus on the evening of the event.

“I truly hope they are alright,” I said after learning that it was a youngster. It’s dreadful beyond words.

Specially trained cops are providing assistance to the boy’s family.

The youngster fell from the same area where Nick Cave’s 15-year-old son, Arthur, died in a 2015 accident.

The Australian rock star’s kid had used LSD, according to an investigation.

According to Operation Chaucer, anybody with information on the event on Saturday is invited to report it online or by calling 101.
