During press conferences, Kaizer Chiefs manager Arthur Zwane has a lovely personality, but his patience must definitely be wearing thin.

Burnley agrees to pay R186 million for the services of Bafana Bafana player Lyle Foster.

Arthur Zwane’s Amakhosi have lost three consecutive Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches, marking the first time in history that the Glamour Boys have lost their opening three PSL games of a calendar year.

“We had a plan, and our plan was for them to play the ball inside, where we would receive it,” Zwane said on SuperSport TV.

“And in the first half, we had about five similar instances where we received the ball and then gave it back to them.” We knew we might have done better in the final third, as bad decision-making recurred in the second half.

“If we had been clinical today, we may have scored four or five goals. If you consider how many times even Ronwen [Williams] attempted to play the ball and it hit one of our players or dropped into our path, then we must punish them,” concluded the Soweto-born coach.

“Yet again, we do not. We had numbers, three against two, three against one, but our decision-making failed us once more. It was not meant to be, but the second half was significantly better than the first. I believe we were a tad sluggish and offered them too much respect in the first half.
