The location of every one who discovered that the Queen had passed away at age 96 has been revealed.

“Such an atmosphere fell over us quickly,” they said. Then there were sombre murmurs and grave expressions. The billboards were altered in 20 minutes.
Others have recalled hearing the news while attending family events.
As they reflected on the incident, they said: “We learned the Queen passed away last night while attending a family birthday party. Despite the fact that we didn’t spend the whole evening watching TV, we did each take a little break.

One individual who lives elsewhere said that hearing the news made them think of Singapore’s late former prime leader Lee Kuan Yew’s passing.
“The Queen’s passing reminds me of the day LKY died,” they said. Because I was in Singapore, it was more intense. Both represent the last seconds of a bygone age.
