A heroic “grandmother” pushed two thugs off a Tube train at rush hour as they attempted to drag off a passenger and beat him on the platform.
When two guys stopped the doors of a Central line carriage at Tottenham Court Road station in the West End, an agitated woman yelled at them, “Will you get off the train, get off!”
They had been attempting to’smack’ another passenger behind her.
Her intervention, which prompted one of the guys to warn her to “shut up,” occurred after the two men had blocked the doors and threatened to “smack you up” with a third man involved in an incident with them.
The Twitter user who captured the man stated that the altercation began when the man in the white T-shirt began gazing at the third man, who then questioned him whether he was gay.
As the doors began to close, the thugs attempted to drag the third man off the train as the woman standing by the door tried to mind her own business.
Then, one of the two men yelled at the third man, “Are you insane? Don’t ever do it again!” And the second said, “Get off the train, because I’m going to beat you up”

The woman was then compelled to act, yelling at the two men and pushing them off the platform as they staggered back on and yelled “shut up.”
Yesterday around noon, social media user @Avz xv tweeted the video with the caption, “Grandma was not having it.” I was too exhausted to smile.
Underneath the video, @Avz xv stated that the man in the white T-shirt was gazing at the third man, at which point the third man “asked whether he was gay and the situation escalated.”
The woman intervenes, shrieking at the males, “Get off the train!” before physically removing them.

The Twitter user who shared the video in response to this remark stated, “It’s true, but I don’t believe she was disturbed by the way she pushed them off.”
