In the Lotto Plus 1 and the Lotto Plus 2 draws, there were no outright winners to declare. In the latter draw, one person managed to claim R165 000 for matching five numbers and the bonus ball – not a bad night’s work, to be fair.
However, with the biggest jackpot of the night riding on the original Lotto draw, all eyes were focused on the R40 million kitty. Lottery operator Ithuba have asked the lucky winner to now come forward and claim their winnings. Meanwhile, the three competitors who fell one number short all walked away with R32 357.70 each.
