Wayne Lineker’s Ibiza bar is adorned for the Queen’s burial

Tourists from the UK tuned in to pay their respects today at themed pubs displaying the Queen’s burial in the sun-drenched party capital of Spain.

In remembrance of the late king, Wayne Lineker, Gary Lineker’s brother, decorated his Ibiza beach bar with red, white, and blue balloons.

To watch the funeral live from Westminster Abbey, Brits flocked to his San Antonio sports bar of the same name, Lineker’s Bar.

Bars in the vibrant Majorcan city of Magaluf also went sombre today as the normally busy streets filled with visitors took on a sombre and mournful appearance.

Tourists wore British-themed attire as they quietly enjoyed their drinks while watching the television at home.

2,000 VIPs, royals, prime ministers, and a few hundred ordinary Britons selected by the Queen attended the remarkable and emotional state burial, as an estimated 2 million people gathered outside to mourn her death 11 days earlier.

Other pubs in San Antonio attracted patrons to watch the events of today, with one advertising “Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II aired here from 11 am” on a chalkboard outside.

The 60-year-old Wayne’s nightlife empire, which also includes the adjoining Ocean Beach Club, includes Lineker’s Bar, which is located close to the San Antonio beach.

While tourists paid their respects, other pubs on the island aired the burial of the long-reigning king on big screens.

The Queen’s coffin was followed across London after her royal funeral, making it the longest and most emotional trip. Live coverage of the funeral has taken over British TV from 9:30 am until 6 pm.

Hundreds of soldiers, sailors, and airmen marched to sombre funeral pieces or lined the path as the corpse was carried on a gun carriage after the funeral, a sight not seen in many years.

Charles and his siblings, Princess Royal, Duke of York, and Earl of Wessex, followed by the three royal grandchildren, Peter Phillips, Duke of Sussex, and Prince of Wales, stood behind her coffin.

After being transported 20 miles from Hyde Park Corner, she will be buried at Windsor next to her adored husband Prince Philip in a private ceremony.
