A video captured the amusing moment a casual dog walk went awry when two pals, who had previously stopped for a few drinks, fell into a creek and fought to get back up.
Claire Rollinson, age 40, and her friends walk their dogs together on a regular basis, but after stopping at a pub for a few drinks, this particular stroll did not go as planned.
After leaving the pub, the group decided to take a shortcut by attempting to bridge a river; however, two of the group’s pals slid on the slick surface and fell into the water many times as they struggled to maintain their footing.
Claire and her companion, Carla, can be seen attempting to cross the water using a log in an attempt to avoid the water while their dogs raced around, but after losing their balance, they clutch onto each other and fall into the water.
Carla can be heard exclaiming, “You f***ing idiot…seriously,” as she laughs about falling into the water after her friend accidently knocked her down.
When Claire clambers on all fours with a smudge of muck streaking over one of her cheeks, she complains, “I despise my life at the moment.”
Once she regains her calm, Carla explains to the camera, “I only went to help the dog,” as she helps a small dog over a large log.
Claire also shares her thoughts with the camera: ‘This isn’t even funny anymore…cross ‘Let’s the river,’ she says. f****ing hate it…I’m f****ing drenched.’
The two then attempt to wade across the water to reach the other side, as their other companions behind the camera are left in fits of laughter.
The video has received over 1.5 million views on TikTok, making it pretty popular.
Claire stated, ‘We frequently go on walks, but after stopping at a pub for a few drinks, Carla, the woman who fell twice, believed she knew a shortcut across the river.
I was stranded on the log, and everyone had left with their dogs except for me and my dog Lucky.
My dog dislikes getting wet, so Carla returned to assist us both. She had been following Lucky around the field for ten minutes prior to this event, which was equally amusing.
Thus, they agreed to begin filming, and then everything went wrong. As the girls know, I dislike unclean water and muck, so at first I didn’t find the humor in it, but now that I’m looking at it I can’t stop laughing.
It has 1.5 million views and continues to rise, which I find insane given that these adventures are the norm for women. I believe it may begin wearing a go pro every day.
