Last week, as mourners gathered for the funeral for the mother of Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy, a dozen women wore orange pants adorned with a gigantic penis and a pair of testicles.
As the women, headed by the socialite and entrepreneur Mike Nwogu (also known as Pretty Mike), strolled through the room with their artificial mandingos dangling from their legs, jaws fell.
On Instagram, Pretty Mike stated, “Out here doing what I do best, causing smiles and uncertainty in people’s minds.” “Believe what you will, but we just laid Mummy to rest in grand style #MummyDonJazzy #PabloCubanaGrandReopeningLoadin,” the tweet reads.
A few days after Pretty Mike posted images and videos of the event on social media, Tweeps have expressed shock and enjoyment at the stunt.
Don Jazzy, the famed Nigerian music executive behind artists like as Rema and Ayra Starr, reacted on the picture with a white heart emoji and many raised hand emojis, implying his support.
Others, such as @ManLikeIcey, were not as enthusiastic: “It’s disgraceful People should know when to stop, and these girls are shameless for enabling him to utilize them for this heinous act, as was the case with Pretty Mike’s attendance at the funeral of Don Jazzy’s mother.

Popular social critic @DanielRegha said, “Pretty Mike disregarded Don Jazzy by putting on such a devi!ous performance at Don’s mother’s funeral; some may find it amusing, but it’s not.

As Regha pointed out, Pretty Mike has a lengthy history of causing controversy with his entrances to events he has previously attended.
In June, he attended the wedding of comedian and actor Stanley Chibuna, aka Funny Bone), accompanied by a woman who imitated Jesus Christ on the cross.

A few months prior, he invaded an event in Lagos with a group of animal-costumed women. Later, he posted a video of the three women with animal masks joining him on Instagram.
