Willow on Disney+ is an uncommon “Chosen One” epic that focuses on the ensemble. Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis), Kit Tanthalos (Ruby Cruz), Jade (Erin Kellyman), Prince Graydon (Tony Revolori), Thraxus Boorman (Amar Chadha-Patel), and the newly revealed Elora Danan (Ellie Bamber) must reluctantly band together to rescue Kit’s brother Airk (Dempsey Bryk) from his kidnappers beyond the Shattered Sea. Along the journey, they engage in combat with cursed warriors, get into problems, and crack jokes nonstop. Willow is an extremely entertaining show to watch, and it appears that its production was even more enjoyable. In this unique behind-the-scenes clip, you can witness how ridiculous the cast of Willow became on set.
The brief behind-the-scenes movie begins with Warwick Davis deadpanning, “Many people have commented on how sad it is that the young cast has me as their tutor.” Davis then jokes with Tony Revolori that he needs to find his “own close-up,” which is received with laughter.
In fact, there is nonstop laughter in this Willow behind-the-scenes film. We observe Ellie Bamber shimmying during a magic session, Erin Kellyman and Ruby Cruz dancing like crazed women on a cliff, and Amar Chadha-Patel falling over again as he relaxes. “I don’t sure if this butt is a problem.” Cruz ponders Kellyman.
“Everything is humorous when we get together,” Chadha-Patel says. Even things that are not humorous become extremely humorous.
Between the montage of on-set pranks and profanity-laced (but blacked-out) bloopers, Kellyman adds, “I’m going to miss the cast and crew so much. These are my relatives.”
