Violent incident in Sydney’s west leaves two men injured

A violent incident in Sydney’s west has left two men injured, with one suffering multiple stab wounds to the head. The altercation occurred on Park Rd in Homebush, with police and paramedics called to the scene around 12.35pm following reports of a brawl. A 48-year-old man was found with significant injuries to his head, while a 20-year-old man had been struck in the shoulder.

According to a NSW Police spokesperson, four people were involved in the altercation. Two suspects, believed to be aged in their 20s and 30s, fled the scene in a Silver Volvo. The victims were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The police spokesperson provided descriptions of the suspects to the media. One suspect is described as being of Asian appearance, of slim build and wearing dark clothing. The other is described as being of Asian appearance, of a solid build, wearing a black hat and pink shoes. Police have established a crime scene and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
