In the video, a person dressed in black approaches a Mazda 3 and fires shots in broad daylight.

Police discovered evidence of bullet damage to the vehicle, as well as empty bullet casings and fence damage.

It is believed that three shots were fired at the Mazda 3 while the baby was inside, during an allegedly illegal transaction.

Investigators suspect that the transaction was taking place between two males in the cul-de-sac and was ambushed by the gunman.

Authorities have declared the area a crime scene, and the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad is conducting an investigation under Strike Force Terrol.

The shooter reportedly fled the scene in a black Toyota Camry before entering a grey Hyundai Veloster near Bankstown.
