Here’s some advice concerning You: Never assume that somebody is truly dead. Netflix has released the trailer for You Season 4 Part 2, which has an unexpected cameo. Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) has returned, and she appears overjoyed to see her old husband.
Love makes a brief appearance at the end of the trailer. She looks up from her book while hanging out in another of Joe’s (Penn Badgley) basement cages. Her greeting to Joe is as foreboding as it gets. Joe faked his own death, set his house on fire, and left Love to perish in the flames as the third season concluded. Therefore, she shouldn’t be here.
Did Love make it through Joe’s unexpected plan? She may be a hallucination. Is Joe on a subsequent drug trip? We must wait until March 9 to get the answer.
This is not the only unexpected feature concealed within this trailer. There are not one but two sweltering scenes. The first relationship is between Lady Phoebe (Tilly Keeper) and Adam, her boyfriend (Lukas Gage). The second occurs between Joe and his most recent romantic interest, Kate (Charlotte Ritchie). It is a shocking revelation given that Badgley has been vocal this season about wanting to perform less sexual scenes. The actor has elaborated on how much he dislikes performing these moments and how his fidelity to his wife, Domino Kirke-Badgle, is of utmost significance. This season, Badgley spoke with You creator Sera Gamble about minimizing the number of sexually explicit sequences he appears in. However, if this teaser is any indicator, he did not fully escape responsibility.
Part 1 of Season 4 concluded with the discovery that author Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers), and not Joe, was the Eat the Rich killer. Now we’ll see how Joe reacts to being an unwilling accomplice for once. Check out the clip up top and scroll down to see the first-look photographs for Part 2.
