Rudy Giuliani dismissed the January 6 committee on Wednesday after denying requesting his former client Donald Trump for a pardon in connection with the activities of January 6.
During a generally jaw-dropping session held by the panel on Tuesday, Giuliani’s request for a presidential pardon, along with that of Trump’s former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, was among the most explosive claims made.
Cassidy Hutchinson, a 25-year-old former assistant to Meadows who was present for multiple crucial discussions pertaining to the White House’s 2020 election plan, was the star witness for the lawmakers.
Hutchinson painted a picture of a White House in turmoil over the former president and a small faction of his allies looking to overturn the election results by any means necessary on January 6 while officials and others in Trump’s orbit kept them at bay in addition to testifying about Giuliani and Meadows’ requests for pardons.
Giuliani asserted to know individuals personally prepared to refute her claims and contrasted the nine-member, bipartisan committee to the legislators who looked into potential Russian government ties in the 2016 Trump campaign.
Once more, according to Giuliani, the January 6 Committee of “Russian Collusion” Liars encouraged perjury from Cassidy Hutchinson.

She was apparently worried enough to bring up the “strange” talk with Meadows, according to Hutchinson.

The former president called Hutchinson a “leaker,” “fake,” and a “bull—— artist” in a rant that started before her testimony was finished.
Additionally, he refuted her claims that he grabbed for an agent’s throat when he was stopped and tried to wrest control of his presidential vehicle from its driver.
