Unnoticed on the London Underground was a Dubai sheikh with 15 million Instagram followers

Without his usual robes, a well-known Dubai sheikh with over 15 million Instagram followers was entirely ignored on the London Underground.

While on vacation in the UK last week with his family and friends, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, used the London subway system.

The Prince had been updating his 14.5 million Instagram followers, who included celebrities like football players Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba, as well as former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen, on his travels.

The Crown Prince shared the picture to his 14.5million Instagram followers as he went incognito on the Tube without his traditional robes on

Sheikh Hamdan shared a picture of himself and his companion Badr Ateej on his account, neither of them wearing their usual robes and both seeming to be a little weary of the capital’s subway system.

We still have a way to go, and Badr is getting bored, the caption stated.

The two may be seen standing in the middle of a packed carriage, yet no one else seems to notice that they are near a Crown Prince.

The fact that no one recognised him without his robes amused many of his devotees greatly. “These poor individuals have no clue with whom they are travelling,” one person remarked on the photo.

The sheikh, who has risen to fame, was pictured with another Prince, The Duke of Cambridge, who visited the UK Pavilion at Expo2020 in Dubai

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, was seen travelling with Sheikh Hamdan to London.

The sheikh, who goes by Fazza, may have escaped detection on the London Underground according to his Instagram account, but on a July visit to the city, a viral video showed the Prince being recognised by what seemed to be an elated mother and son.

Ahmad Jaber Al Harbi, a friend of his who is also followed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin Pietersen, shared the video with the description, “When a Dubai resident noticed @faz3 in #London.”

After meeting Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, on a visit to the UAE pavilion at Expo2020, “Fazza” is no stranger to celebrity.

Sheikh Hamdan has often seen Cristiano Ronaldo when the footballer comes to Dubai. Pictured: Ronaldo with his son Cristiano Jr and the Crown Prince during the footballer's Christmas Break in 2019

The first World Expo to be held in the Arab world and the biggest event ever held in the area, the event was postponed because to Covid-19.

At Expo2020, Sheikh Hamdan, who has often been seen hanging out with Cristiano Ronaldo, also ran into the Manchester United striker.

The two people investigated the 196-foot-deep lagoon in Dubai that has an arcade and abandoned residences.

After the players were given permission to take a winter vacation by former United manager Ralf Rangnick, Ronaldo addressed the crowd at the postponed World Expo event in January 2022.

The sheikh is well renowned for being a global traveller and is often seen visiting various continents.

The Crown Prince has seen the Portuguese star recently too at the delayed Expo 2020 event last January where Ronaldo gave a speech

He reportedly left London and travelled to Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, according to his Instagram.

He uploaded a photo of a painting of Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic after seeing several exhibits.

Sheikh Hamdan, who regularly posts on his Instagram, shared images of Ronaldo spending time with him and his friends during the trip

In his most recent post, Sheikh Hamdan was seen boarding an aircraft in Belgrade and travelling to an unknown location.
