Volunteers constructed a dog food dispenser in recently recovered land in Donetsk, causing a line of hungry Ukrainian canines to form for sweet treats.
Those who follow the news from the frontline haven’t had much to cheer about recently, but it’s not all bad news in Ukraine.
Film maker Nate Mook stated that he erected a makeshift dog food dispenser in the city of Kramatorsk in the Russian Far East.
“I’ve never seen something quite like this before. Yesterday, with your help, we constructed a food station for displaced animals in Kramatorsk,’ he said. The Ukrainian dogs waited in line to eat this morning.
The dogs are observed patiently awaiting their time to feed, retaining their manners despite their hardship on the front lines.
No shoving or crowding, please. Do not fight. One social media user remarked, “Everyone is patiently waiting their time.”
Cats also frequented the feeder.
Mook has also devoted time to rescuing kittens from the Ukrainian battlefield and bringing them to safety.
However, Mook’s generosity is not limited to domestic pets. He was also photographed constructing a racoon shelter in the war-torn country.
Mook told The Dodo, “We’ve observed a tremendous demand for animal support.” “Dogs and cats who once had homes”
Mook recently assisted in delivering 500 pounds of donated food to a Sviatohirsk animal refuge.
He has established a PayPal link to help home animals displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.
A little less than an hour’s drive away, Russian forces have rushed the eastern Ukrainian frontline.
In his nightly video message, President Zelenskiy referred to Soledar and Bakhmut as the most volatile areas in Donbas. There is intense warfare taking on there.
Since capturing the strategic industrial towns of Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk in June and July, Russia’s armed forces have made Bakhmut their next objective in their methodical progress across the Donetsk area. Soledar is located immediately north of Bakhmut.
