During a dramatic dogfight, a Ukrainian fighter jet narrowly avoids a Russian missile lock.

The pilot is seen in video footage performing some impressive manoeuvres to avoid incoming rockets.

The Su-25 fighter jet, designed by the Soviet Union, can be seen flying over a road in eastern Donbas.

The pilot’s radar flashes, indicating that he has been targeted, so he executes a series of complex maneuvers to avoid the attack.

During the collision, the aircraft’s wing comes dangerously close to the ground and some trees.

The pilot miraculously managed to escape before the Russian rocket was launched.

Meanwhile, the bodies of more than 200 Ukrainian fighters slain in the battle for Mariupol have been returned to their families in other parts of the Donbas, according to Ukraine’s military intelligence service.

The majority of the 210 dead retrieved by Russian forces were from the Azovstal steelworks, the city’s last surviving foothold, according to the report.

The CIA did not say how many additional remains are suspected to be buried in the ruins of the plant that has been transformed into a stronghold.

After months of violent medieval-style siege, Russia today has complete control of the southern port city.

Ukraine announced on Saturday that both sides had exchanged 160 dead fighters. It’s unknown if any more bodies have been handed over since then.
