Unsettling media personality Katie Price has made the troubling claim that she was raped in South Africa in 2018 during a trip to the country.
The beauty model, once known as Jordan, was filming her ITV reality show My Crazy Life at the time.
Katie, accompanied by three of her five children, made the confession in a forthcoming documentary titled Trauma and Me.
In 2018, Katie Price and her then-15-year-old, 12-year-old, and 10-year-old children Harvey, Junior, and Princess, as well as their film crew, were en route to Swaziland to attend a children’s program as part of her ITV reality television show.
The minibus stopped on the side of the N17 road near Ermelo, Mpumalanga, because one of the children needed to use the restroom.
A bunch of men ambushed the family and demanded money and their belongings. MailOnline reports that the assailants stole laptops, iPads, passports, cash, and jewelry. They were never apprehended.
Katie Price detailed the event in footage from My Crazy Life that aired a year later. Katie Prive repeated the incident in 2020 on the television show SAS: Celebrity Who Dares to Win, stating that one of the men had touched her.
The mother of five stated, “We should never have been permitted to travel without safety.”
It resembled something from a horror movie. This large man wearing an Adidas hoodie was screaming in my face, cursing, and demanding everything. Moreover, he was touching me below.
“I grabbed a pillow and threw myself in front of the children in an attempt to protect them, waiting to be struck by a bullet. I believed that I was going to die. The police stated that it was a miracle we were not killed.

Katie Price claims she was raped three years after the tragic incident and a time in treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.
She stated in a trailer for Trauma And Me, “There was no security when I was filming with ITV in South Africa.
If we had protection, they could have dealt with the six men who attacked us, held me at gunpoint, and raped me.”
She said to MailOnline: “‘I was suicidal when I experienced extreme depression a few years ago, depression on top of PTSD. I tried to commit suicide.
She continued, “I knocked myself unconscious and had black eyes and neck injuries.” I woke up, I didn’t want to be here”.
