UAE Team Emirates set out plans for remainder of Pogačar’s 2022 season

ABU DHABI, 26th July, 2022 (WAM) — The UAE Team Emirates today announced the schedule of the remaining races in Tadej Pogačar’s 2022 season.

As the dust settles on a memorable Tour de France, the 23-year-old will be in action as soon as next weekend for the San Sebastian Classic in the Basque Country, before taking a break and building up towards a block of one-day races starting with the GP Plouay in France before building up towards the World Championships and Il Lombardia where his won in 2021.

Following the Il Lombardía, Pogačar and his fellow riders and members of UAE Team Emirates will be jetting into the UAE for one final warm-weather training camp before the curtain falls on the 2022 season.

The dates of Pogačar’s remaining challenges are as follows: San Sebastián Classic (30th July); GP Plouay (28th August); GP Quebec (9th September); GP Montreal (11th September); World Championships (25th September); Giro Dell’Emilia (1st October); Tre Valli Varesine (4th October); and Il Lombardía (8th October)
