Tuesday afternoon, two men were reportedly shot dead on Yousuf Dado Street in the heart of Durban by unidentified criminals. The police have cast a broad net in search of these perpetrators.
The victims, thought to be in their thirties, were discovered with several gunshot wounds, according to police spokesman Colonel Robert Netshiunda. They died at the scene due to their injuries.
“Reports indicate that the two men were seated in a vehicle when they were approached by two armed suspects who started shooting at them,” said Netshiunda
“The suspects are reported to have fled the scene in a grey Toyota Avanza with Durban registration plates.”
The authorities are probing the murder’s motivation.
