Two light motor vehicles collided head-on on the N1 northbound near the Mall of the North in Bendor Park, Polokwane, last night, killing a woman and injuring three men.
At 18h00, ER24 and another service arrived on the site. Medics arrived on the scene to find one light motor vehicle in the center of the road and the second car on the side of the road.
A woman was discovered stuck inside one of the vehicles, while three men walked around the scene.
Medics examined the patient and discovered that she had already died as a result of her numerous injuries. She was certified dead because nothing could be done for her.
The three other men were examined and discovered to have minor injuries. The men were treated and then brought to a nearby hospital by another service.
Authorities from the locality were on the scene to conduct additional investigations.
