Tucker Carlson Defends Kanye West’s Tiananmen Square Comparison

Tucker Carlson has continued to support Kanye West hours after the musician was banned from Twitter for an anti-Semitic diatribe declaring war on the Jewish people.

Tucker Carlson defended Kanye West's 'White Lives Matter' Paris Fashion Week stunt and likened the troubled rapper to the 1989 protesters at Tiananmen Square

After a series of problems that began when he wore “White Lives Matter” t-shirts to Paris Fashion Week with Candace Owens, the Fox News presenter continued to promote the controversial musician.

In his two-part, prerecorded interview with Carlson, West compared himself and Owens to the Tiananmen Square protesters of 1989.

Carlson concurred with West’s assessment, stating, “Like Tiananmen Square, Ye West and Candace Owens are standing in front of the media tank.”

Owens agreed with the analysis and claimed she was more than willing to assist West with the hoax. Later on her own podcast, the conservative pundit also defended West for the most recent outrage against his tweet, stating he was not being anti-Semitic.

Carlson likened the Fashion Week moment to the iconic image of a Chinese man standing alone to block a line of tanks in Tiananmen Square on June 5, 1989

Tucker Carlson applauded Kanye West’s ‘White Lives Matter’ Paris Fashion Week prank and compared him to the Tiananmen Square demonstrators of 1989.

Last week, West (right) and conservative commentator Candace Owners (left) wore provocative shirts. Since then, West has continued to stir up controversy with anti-Semitic tweets and Instagram photos, resulting in his suspension from both sites.

Following his Instagram suspension from Instagram, West tweeted that he was going to go 'death con 3 on Jewish people,' leadin to his latest suspension

Carlson compared Fashion Week to the iconic image of a lone Chinese man blocking a line of tanks in Tiananmen Square on 5 June 1989.

Following his suspension from Instagram, West tweeted that he was going to commit “murder by three” on Jewish people, resulting in his latest punishment.

West’s Twitter account was disabled over the weekend after he posted the following message: “I’m a little sleepy now, but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”West told Carlson that he sees himself as a 'soldier' battling for 'life itself'

He continued, ‘The irony is that I cannot be anti-Semitic because black people are also Jews. You have messed with me and attempted to blackball opponents of your plan.’

His newest attack on Jewish people comes only one day after he posted screenshots of messages written to Diddy on Instagram, in which he accused the rapper of being under the control of Jewish people who are attempting to quiet his “White Lives Matter” message.

The post led to the suspension of his Instagram account.Owens also appeared on Carlson's show to defend West. She also claimed that his recent rants against Jewish people were not anti-Semitic

West depicted himself and Ownes as’soldiers’ fighting for ‘life itself’ in an interview with Carlson about the incident that sparked his recent outbursts. They stunned audiences in Paris last week.

“For me to simply walk out and make an apparent and empathic statement in the middle of the most liberal country was like going to Tiananmen Square with Candace Owens,” West said of his decision to wear “White Lives Matter” t-shirts.

And we both wore the shirt simultaneously. Actually, there are several military present. People claim they are willing to die for it, but we are willing to live for it. We live for the fight.

“What is the purpose of this conflict? Existence itself Our children.’

Owens defended her actions with West to Carlson, stating that they were part of West’s artistic expression to highlight hypocrisy.

Owens stated, “We were told for years that Black Lives Matter was not an exclusive word.” We were informed that, “It is precisely what we are stating. We do not intend to exclude White folks. We are only saying this because this is a crucial time for African Americans in this country.”

They were quite content when Asian Lives Matter also became a catchphrase.

West explained to Carlson that he views himself as a’soldier’ fighting for ‘life itself.’

Owens defended West on Carlson’s show as well. She also asserted that his recent remarks about Jews were not anti-Semitic.

She also asserted that there is a ‘undeniable’ hatred of white people in the United States.

Back on her own program for the Daily Wire, Ownes maintained that West’s remark was not anti-Semitic.

Owens stated, “You did not believe that he wrote this tweet because he hates or wants to exterminate Jewish people.” This does not constitute the start of a Holocaust.

Owens concluded that the media was overreacting and that West was not anti-Semitic but rather trying to make a point.

Owens stated, ‘It’s as if you cannot even speak the word ‘Jewish’ without offending people, just as you are no longer permitted to say ‘Black’.

Carlson, for his part, did not address West’s tweets, instead concluding his show by rejecting racism.

Carlson stated that no group, regardless of appearance or beliefs, should have to tolerate being singled out on the basis of immutable features. There should be no tolerance for such conduct.

Even the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has weighed in on the upheaval surrounding West, tweeting: ‘Talked to you today and explained my worries over his latest remark, which I believe he took to heart.’

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, tweeted that he has given the troubled musician guidance.

Kanye sported his controversial White Lives Matter tweet while attending North’s basketball game in Los Angeles. Soon after, he sent the unsettling tweet on Jews.

The billionaire was active on social media over the weekend, as he attacked Mark Zuckerberg for limiting his Instagram access after he posted a deleted private discussion with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

In the text discussion, Combs attempts to get West to quit wearing White Lives Matter t-shirts.

“I am trying to communicate with you as a black man. And I’m speaking with you because our people are being harmed. Stop.’

West responded, “I will share everything you text me.” The rapper and fashion mogul stayed true to his word and shared the full conversation with his 18 million followers.

The sequence of texts concluded with West’s antisemitic conspiracy idea that Combs was controlled by Jews.

“This is no game. West responded to his pal, “I’m going to use you as an example to teach the Jewish people who urged you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

He allegedly accompanied the post of the text exchange with the phrase “Jesus is a Jew.” Since then, the American Jewish Committee has slammed West, declaring his article to be “destructive.”

West reportedly told Combs, “Jewish people urged you to call me,” but they would not “threaten or influence me.”

After Meta, the owner of Instagram, erased Ye’s initial tweets, Ye criticized Zuckerberg’s firm on Twitter for restricting his account.

“Observe this, Mark. How are you going to ban me from Instagram? You were formerly my n***a.

The message was accompanied by an image of the pair singing karaoke at an unspecified time.

A spokeswoman for Meta stated, “We may ban accounts that consistently violate our policies.”

It is unclear which guideline West violated in that instance, but he has increasingly used the platform to criticize other individuals, including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Kanye West was banned from Instagram for allegedly antisemitic remarks, stating that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was under Jewish influence.

West told Carlson in his first interview after returning from Paris Fashion Week that the shirt was inspired by his ‘energy’ and his ‘connection to God.’

I do certain things based on intuition; I simply channel the energy. It strikes on gut instinct, a link with God, and sheer brilliance,’ he added, adding that the concept of him “wearing the shirt seemed humorous” and that his father, who he claimed was a former Black Panther, agreed.

‘I said: ‘Dad, why do you think it’s funny?’ “He answered, ‘It’s just a black man saying the obvious,’” he added to Carlson.

“That was my favorite response because I kept thinking: People are seeking explanations. As an artist, you are not required to provide an explanation, but as a leader, you must.’

Recently, he spoke with Tucker Carlson of Fox News about the shirts and stated, “I do certain things based on a sense; I simply channel the energy.” It feels correct, hits utilizing intuition, God’s connection, and is just brilliant.

Recent controversy has surrounded West’s White Lives Matter T-shirt, which he recently wore to his daughter’s soccer game (pictured)

In addition, he stated that the disagreement stems from the fact that white people “have stripped us of our identity, classified us as a color, and informed us what it means to be black.”

“The reason I wrote “White Lives Matter” on a shirt is because they do matter. It is an evident fact.’

Many have criticized the fashion designer for the tagline, including model Gigi Hadid, who labeled him a “bully” after he retaliated against Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for calling his move “aggressive” and “dangerous.”

He eventually recanted his critique, stating he had no problem with the contributing fashion editor at Vogue.

His spokesman Jason Lee resigned in protest at the controversial performance, writing on Instagram that West was ‘gaslighting black people and encouraging white supremacy.’
