Jennifer Lawrence claims she experienced repeated nightmares about Fox News personality Tucker Carlson following the June reversal of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court.
Lawrence told Vogue for the magazine’s October cover story that she has discussed the dreams with her therapist and has attempted to come to terms with growing up in Louisville, Kentucky around Republican family.
“I’ve fought so hard over the past five years to forgive my father and my family and to comprehend that this situation is unique. The information they are receiving varies. Their lives is unique, “She said to Vogue. “I’ve attempted to get over it, but I simply cannot. I can’t.”
Lawrence said to Vogue that she was emotionally affected by the Supreme Court’s decision to eliminate the constitutional right to an abortion.
The reversal occurred two months after Lawrence and her husband of three years, Cooke Maroney, welcomed their first child. She revealed to Vogue that she had previously been pregnant — once in her early 20s, when she intended to get an abortion but miscarried instead, and again a few years later, when she miscarried again and required a dilation and curettage treatment.
She told Vogue that she has been considering how challenging it would have been for her if she had fewer options.

She told Vogue that she makes an effort to forgive her Republican family.
