Travis Scott accused of damaging $12K worth of equipment after getting in a brawl outside a nightclub

According to police sources, Travis Scott allegedly punched a man in the face and caused $12,000 worth of damage to equipment at Nebula in Midtown early Wednesday. The “Sicko Mode” rapper reportedly got into a verbal altercation with a sound engineer that turned physical. The alleged victim did not complain of pain or have any visible injuries at the time of the report. Scott also allegedly damaged a video screen and speaker before leaving the nightclub in an unknown vehicle. While a complaint was made, Scott has not been arrested in connection to the alleged incident.

Representatives for Scott and Nebula did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment. Scott has faced various legal issues in the past, including pleading guilty to disorderly conduct in 2018 after an incident at an Arkansas concert in the previous year. He was also charged with inciting a riot but pleaded not guilty to the accusation.

However, Scott’s biggest scandal to date was the tragic Astroworld festival in Houston, where 10 people died after a stampede broke out. In the aftermath, attendees and families filed 400 lawsuits against Scott, Live Nation, and others involved in Astroworld, which were eventually combined into one civil case representing nearly 2,800 victims. They accused Scott and others of negligence, but both he and Live Nation denied the allegations and any wrongdoing.

During an interview with Charlamagne tha God, Scott stated that he’s “1000 percent” sure he did everything he could to help dying audience members. The Harris County coroner later confirmed that all Astroworld victims died from compression asphyxia.
