Transfer news from Mamelodi Sundowns: No one wants to leave yet

Rhulani Mokwena, the head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, has intimated that this will be a relatively quiet transfer window due to the lack of incoming players.

In addition, Mokwena stated that no player has expressed a desire to leave Sundowns and that every player is content.

As they completed their business at the beginning of the season, Sundowns have a quality group and sufficient depth to finish the season without adding any new players.

Since Peter Shalulile is injured and there are rumors that he could be sent abroad, it was anticipated that Sundowns will acquire a striker.

However, that does not appear to be the case, since Mokwena stated that if no one is brought in, they will continue to work with the current squad.

Mokwena informed reporters that there has been no transfer activity.

“However, no one has yet knocked on my door to say they wish to depart. Therefore, both the players and we are pleased to have them here.

Mokwena continued, “And if that is the status quo, we will continue to work and strive to ensure that we are all satisfied in our service to Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club, as that is what is most important.”
