Mamelodi Sundowns striker Pavol Safranko linked with a shock transfer to Romania

Pavol Safranko, a striker for Mamelodi Sundowns, has been linked to a shocking transfer to Steaua Bucharest of Romania.

Safranko has apparently been selected as Steaua Bucharest’s top target for the forthcoming campaign.

The owner of Steaua Bucharest, Gigi Becali, reportedly instructed coach Nicolae Dică to recruit the Slovakian striker if at all feasible, according to a report by Orange Sport Romania.

Safranko, 27, last played for Sepsi OSK in Romania, where he scored 17 goals in 73 games. He signed a five-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2021.

Pavol Safranko has participated in 28 games for the Brazilians so far, scoring nine goals in all competitions.
